Career Advocate Program
The Career Advocate Program consists of presentations to third year students at the schools and colleges of optometry. In a full-day seminar, third year students receive information on career planning; joining, buying, and starting a practice; managing personal and practice finances; day-to-day practice operations; patient communication and much more. This information is not typically covered in the standard optometry school curriculum. For more information about the Career Advocate Program go to www.aoa.org/x5761.xml.
