Optometry's Meeting® 2010
Orlando - June 16-20, 2010
Students shed lab coats and endless hours of studying for a few days of fun . . . in this
relaxed atmosphere they also continued their education and had networking
opportunities with future employers, business partners and fellow students. All were
welcomed to the Orlando setting on the first night and special students events that
followed included an AOSA Awards and General Session hosted by HOYA which
allowed the Association to give and receive various awards including the essay contests
sponsored by Allergan and TVCI. Hypnotist Ricky Kalmon entertained the students at
this event and many who came as skeptics found themselves in the picture. All had fun
while the Varilux Student Bowl tested students optometric knowledge. There was
continuing education for the choosing including NBEO Reviews and a special day for
students in the Exhibit Hall.
